We put the FUN in FUNDRAISER!

Thanks to everyone who came to the Stonewall Tavern in support of SEE!

All proceeds from ticket sales, raffles and gift bidding are going directly toward keeping SEEdebate.org the amazing free service that our teacher and student users appreciate and use every day.
If you couldn't join us for the evening, you'll have another chance before the end of 2009. We hope to have another event in the early fall, to kick off our 3rd year of service and help raise funds for conference travel.

SEEdebate.org supports educators worldwide in their quest to teach current events, incorporate technological learning into curriculum, and expose students to global viewpoints.

SEEdebate.org provides content in the form of articles posted at the site, collected from a wide variety of sources on the internet, with unique discussion ideas and background links provided. Space and a discussion-thread structure for students to exchange ideas about the postings is also provided.

SEEdebate introduces students to Media Literacy and Bias, in an internet setting, under the watchful eyes of their middle and high school teachers. Equally important, SEEdebate helps develop responsible, engaged citizens who understand the value of viewpoint diversity and of finding common ground and solutions to human challenges.
