Columbus - Who is right?

Read the article adapted from Bartholome' DE Las Casas distributed in class entitled "Open Your Hearts - A Dominican Friar Speaks Out." Then log in to SEEdebate to make your three posts. The following are the three questions which you should post on:

1. Who is right here? Friar Montesinos or Admiral Diego Columbus. Support your stance with evidence from this article or any of the other materials distributed in class.

2. Read through the Blog and find a post by someone who disagrees with you. Counter argue their point for your second post.

3. Friar Montesinos took a great risk in standing up for what he believed in. Have you, or anyone you know, ever taken a risk and stood up for something you thought was right even if it was an unpopular idea?
