Why do you think the savings rate increased in late 2008 through early 2009?
Why would governments encourage people to spend more in economic times like these ("Don't Feed The Recession")? Do you think they are correct?
Do you feel more "patriotic" if you spend more than you need to?
Do you think of this economic recession as being "shock therapy" that we needed in order to become more responsible as individuals and as a nation (U.S.)?
