Arrests at Olympic torch relay
Police arrested 35 people when clashes broke out as the Olympic torch was carried on a relay through London on its way to the 2008 games in China.
Protesters are upset about the way China rules Tibet, and the way the Chinese Government treats Tibetan people.
Some campaigned quietly while others tried to disrupt the torch's journey.
Protests continued all day, with someone trying to snatch the torch from former Blue Peter host Konnie Huq.
Police changed the route the torch was taking in case of further trouble and at some points it was carried on a bus, instead of by a runner.
A protective ring of 10 Chinese flame attendants and police officers surrounded each torch carrier, with uniformed officers along the 31-mile route.
Olympic heptathlon gold medallist Denise Lewis took the flame to be welcomed by Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
Those taking part in the relay included 10 Olympic champions, 18 school kids and celebs like the Blue Peter's Zoe and Denise Van Outen.
Long journey
Double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes ran the last stage of the route and lit an Olympic cauldron in front of 5,000 spectators.
The torch was lit in Olympia, Greece, last week and will go through 20 countries before being carried into the Beijing Games opening ceremony on 8 August.
The Tibet situation is complicated. In March this year, people demonstrated in Tibet because they don't want it to be ruled by China, and a number of people died.

Tibet was once independent, but as it is close to China, it has always been protected by China. China declared Tibet as part of it's territory many years ago, but for a long time, the Chinese government let Tibet rule itself for the most part. Now, China is involved in what happens in Tibet, and people have been protesting their rule for many many years. Recently, it has become more violent.
Do you approve of people protesting the Olympics in China?
Do you think that Tibet should be allowed to rule themselves?
Do you think that certain countries in the world should not be allowed to host the Olympics? Why or why not?
Are you going to watch the Olympics?
